Reconstruction and improvement works on the Yovon–Vahdat–Nurek highway have officially begun in Yovon district with the participation of the Chairman of Yovon district and the support of local entrepreneur Akbar Asadullo.
At the opening ceremony, it was emphasized that the project is being implemented in line with the constructive policy of Leader of the Nation Emomali Rahmon and the continued guidance of the Head of State aimed at developing transport infrastructure, improving the living conditions of the population, and strengthening cooperation between the state and the private sector.
The project represents another example of the active contribution of domestic entrepreneurs to the development of socially important infrastructure. The improvement of this road will help create safer and more convenient travel conditions for residents, improve transport connections, and facilitate the movement of passengers and goods between the connected areas.
During the event, it was noted that the development of road infrastructure remains one of the priority areas of state policy. The construction and reconstruction of high-quality roads not only improve the daily lives of the population but also create favourable conditions for expanding economic and social relations.
The Yovon–Vahdat–Nurek route is important for regional connectivity, and its modernization is expected to improve access between settlements, support business activity, and contribute to the further social and economic development of the surrounding areas.
The start of the reconstruction works is an important step toward improving local infrastructure and reflects the effective cooperation between public authorities and the private sector in implementing projects that benefit the population.
